The New Course of Osho’s Dhara

First of all we have changed the names of only those sanyasins who requested us for changing their names.
Second thing, till Osho used to give the names by himself, it used to be really graceful, names used to be very meaningful and used to direct the seeker towards the path. The names which are being given after Osho, they are not given by considering that person and sometimes they become meaningless due to spelling mistakes also. Many people have been given such names which cannot be even pronounced easily. God knows that they are the words of which language. In such situation we give some meaningful names to the friends on their request.

Third thing, Osho changed the name because they want to break the people’s connection with their name. So that you can know that I am not the name. New name is not given for getting connected to it. Therefore those who have blamed us should rethink that the change in the name hurts your ego because of your attachment with your name.
Osho himself changed his name many a times. Do you remember it or not? Osho must be getting surprised that these people have got so much involved in names. It is surprising that fight is going on in the court on the matter that who has the legal right on the name ‘Osho’.
The master who taught ‘Love is God’, his disciples are fighting on names. It’s very funny.

MANY OF THE OLD AND ENLIGHTENED SANYASINS ARE INSPIRING THEIR FRIENDS TO PARTICIPATE IN YOUR PROGRAM. MORE OVER THE NUMBER OF SANYASI FRIENDS PARTICIPATING IN YOUR PROGRAM ARE RAPIDLY INCREASING. WHAT IS THE SECRET?

There is no secret. Seekers reach where there are burning lamps of Truth. Caterpillars and butterflies hover where flowers blossom. Those who are even little sensitive and aware they recognize the truth. Those who have covered their eyes with the strips of ego only they can remain away from sun of the truth. There is no secret. There is a simple law of life. Only few people have eyes, remaining crowd is blind. The people with right vision are supportive. This has always happened. Es Dhamo Sanantano.
Till now, nowhere the work has been done on the techniques of practicing Omkar. For the very first time, after attainment of knowledge of Samadhi efforts are being made here to drown in the mysterious world. Osho have even given indications of going beyond enlightenment. Therefore the facilities have been made for seekers to go into those deeper aspects. After meditation there is Samadhi, after Samadhi comes enlightenment and many friends are coming from all over the world who are eager to go ahead towards and even beyond enlightenment.

Osho’s bar has been opened. The groups of lovers, thirsty explorers are coming. The fragrance of God’s wine has reached to the sensitive drunkards. The thirsty people have come to know about water.

Sincerity and Total Efforts

A FRIEND SAYS THAT WE ARE ASKED TO PUT IN OUR 100% EFFORTS WHILE DOING A MEDITATION TECHNIQUE, TO DO IT WITH TOTALITY AND TO DO IT SINCERELY BUT THAT BECOMES REALLY TIRING. PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW WE WILL BE ABLE TO FEEL AND EXPERIENCE THE ENERGY WHEN WE ARE SO TIRED.

Your outer will get tired, the circumference will be tired and the center- in that contrast – will start appearing very clearly. Your body will get tired but the inner spiritual energy would appear more powerfully in this contrast.
For example while doing Tratak Meditation — Your eyes would refuse to watch anything outside as they would have got tired of doing meditation technique for half an hour in which you keep on watching at one point (or any object) without even blinking. Now what will happen? Your eyes would start closing by themselves. Now you would not have any desire to look at anything outside. Now you’ve got tired of watching a candle flame outside, now your eyes refuse
to travel outside. Now is the time to look inside and watch the light- the Divine Light inside.
When the outer sense organs get tired, the inner senses will be able to become active. For example when a person is riding on a horse, he forgets that he is different from that horse. When the horse will run fast he will think that he is running fast. But when the horse will get tired and will stop running, at that moment he would clearly realize that he is different from that horse. He would know that he is not the horse but the one who is riding. The linking would break. Something similar has happened with this body and the soul. The consciousness riding on this body has completely forgotten that it is consciousness. It relates itself as a body.

The consciousness realizes its separate identity clearly when the body gets completely exhausted. And this is accelerated in the meditation technique. The body is tired, the senses are tired and the inner consciousness the inner energy appears prominently. The contrast makes it more visible. Just like a black board on which we write with a white chalk. After tiring the body in an active meditation technique, we come to know clearly that the body is lying over there and I am somebody different from the body. Therefore in meditation techniques, the process of tiring the body and senses is also used for the de-linking purpose.

Not Faith but Gratitude

CAN A MASTER TAKE ONE TOWARDS SAMADHI?

Master or any guide can lead you to go to your destination. Moreover, from time to time, can tell you that you are on the right track. This much assurance from him is helpful…you are motivated.

If he sees that you are lost then he will warn you. If you start to fall asleep, he will wake you. Even though you have to walk alone, do remember that in the journey of spirituality no one can take you, you have to make an effort on your own. You have to take the journey. Nevertheless, if you get some co-traveler, a companion, who is ready to go along with you, then the joy of the journey is enhanced. Remember, when a guide takes you on a journey then he also has to travel with you.
What is the difference between you and your guide? You are going on the journey for the first time. Guide has been there before. That is the only difference. He is also a traveler. He is also your co-traveler. The difference is only this that you are traveling for the first time and he has been on this journey many a times.

Master is your Companion

‘Spiritual guide’ cannot drag you forcefully instead; he can go along with you. He can motivate you. If you get even this much support then consider yourself to be privileged.
Kabir goes on to say:

Guru govind dou khade, kake lagoo pae-
Balihari guru aapki, govind diyo dikhae-

It says: Master and God both are standing, at whose feet
Shall I fall. O Master! I am grateful to you that you have shown
me God.
If Master and God both are standing in from of you and one has to decide at whose feet one should bow. Then I would fall at Master’s feet and bow down. If the Master were not there then how would I have known of God’s existence? If Master had not introduced me to God then I would have never understood. I would have remained ignorant even after knowing.
Lady Saint Sahajobai goes a step further-
Ram taju par guru na bisaru
Guru ke sam hari ko na niharu
I am ready to renounce Ram, I am ready to forget God but I am not ready to leave my Master.
On the path of spirituality whoever is ready to go along with you towards the destination of Samadhi, whoever is ready to show you the way then certainly fill with gratitude towards him.

Feeling of Gratitude

I would like to tell you one more thing; fill with gratitude but not with faith because every faith has a shadow of doubt in it. There is a difference only in degree. What you call as faith is 90% faith but you doubt 10%. This is because faith is not dependant on you. It depends on the person in whom you have faith. The moment he slips your judgment, you no longer bestow faith in him.

Gratitude depends on you and does not depend on the other. It is gratitude towards whatever you receive. Now there is nothing to do with person’s personality for whom you have gratitude... whatever may be his personality. Whatever one gets there is gratefulness for that, gratitude for that. Your gratitude never gets shattered. Therefore, in Oshodhara we put into effect gratitude instead of belief. Gratitude does not have shadow of doubt in it. Gratitude solely depends on you.

Hence the first thing; Master does no take you into Samadhi but he provides you the route map for proceeding in the direction of Samadhi. He shows you the way. When you move ahead, he motivates you.
And Osho says that you need a Master the most at two instances. First, when he gives you the route map and makes you start the journey; when he introduces God to you. And the second instance, when you complete the journey, when you arrive at the destination, when you attain Advaita (non-duality), you do not come to know, you cannot understand properly.
You doubt, is this the destination? Is this what we have been searching for so many lives? Is this Advaita? Is this Kaivalya? Is this Nirvana?
There the Master tells you, “Well done! This is it…this is where you had to go; this is what you have been searching for lives. This is it!
At the end of the journey, once again you need the Master.

MEDITATION FOR YOU

Bhastrika Meditation:

Dear Seekers,

Welcome to the meditation of this month. This technique is really short, easy and very helpful. So, give it a try sincerely for one month and feel the difference.
We all have energy within us. This energy is generated or produced by consumption of food. It rises with the help of some physical activity and is stored within by rest. So, firstly we will activate this energy and make it rise higher with the help of jogging which is the second step of the meditation. The first step will be repeating the sound of OM thrice and followed by these two steps shall be a breathing exercise that shall give an upward direction to the energy that has risen by jogging. At the end will be, relaxation and witnessing the self.

Step 1: Omkar (Around 2 minutes)
Join your hands. Close your eyes. And sing along the sound of “OM” three times.

Step 2: Jogging (Around 3 Minutes)
Kindly stand up on your place. Keep your eyes opened. And start jogging on your place.

Step 3: Breathing Exercise (Around 5 minutes)
Close your eyes. Exhale deep, fast and rhythmic breath from your body.

Step 4: Relaxation (About 5 Minutes)
Sit down or lie down in a relaxed posture. Close your eyes.
Contemplate that the body is getting relaxed... relaxed... relaxed...
The body is absolutely relaxed.
The mind is getting silent... silent... silent...
The thoughts are disappearing...
It is an absolute stand still.
The breath is getting passive... more passive.

Step 5: Self-Remembrance (About 5 Minutes)
In this state of utter silence and peace, just go back to your center.
From this center, watch your own self.
Just be a witness.

Step 6: Gratitude (About 2 Minutes)
Slowly, Slowly come back.
But come back with a remembrance of where you have been.
Just get filled with gratitude for this wonderful opportunity.
