MEDITATION FOR YOU

Bhastrika Meditation:

Dear Seekers,

Welcome to the meditation of this month. This technique is really short, easy and very helpful. So, give it a try sincerely for one month and feel the difference.
We all have energy within us. This energy is generated or produced by consumption of food. It rises with the help of some physical activity and is stored within by rest. So, firstly we will activate this energy and make it rise higher with the help of jogging which is the second step of the meditation. The first step will be repeating the sound of OM thrice and followed by these two steps shall be a breathing exercise that shall give an upward direction to the energy that has risen by jogging. At the end will be, relaxation and witnessing the self.

Step 1: Omkar (Around 2 minutes)
Join your hands. Close your eyes. And sing along the sound of “OM” three times.

Step 2: Jogging (Around 3 Minutes)
Kindly stand up on your place. Keep your eyes opened. And start jogging on your place.

Step 3: Breathing Exercise (Around 5 minutes)
Close your eyes. Exhale deep, fast and rhythmic breath from your body.

Step 4: Relaxation (About 5 Minutes)
Sit down or lie down in a relaxed posture. Close your eyes.
Contemplate that the body is getting relaxed... relaxed... relaxed...
The body is absolutely relaxed.
The mind is getting silent... silent... silent...
The thoughts are disappearing...
It is an absolute stand still.
The breath is getting passive... more passive.

Step 5: Self-Remembrance (About 5 Minutes)
In this state of utter silence and peace, just go back to your center.
From this center, watch your own self.
Just be a witness.

Step 6: Gratitude (About 2 Minutes)
Slowly, Slowly come back.
But come back with a remembrance of where you have been.
Just get filled with gratitude for this wonderful opportunity.
